I’ve recently become obsessed with instagram.

I don’t want to read. I don’t want to write. I don’t want to
do anything but be here. Doing something will take me away
from being here. I want to make being here enough. I’ll be
here and I won’t do anything and this place will be here, but
I won’t do anything to it. I’ll just let it be here. And maybe
because I am here and because the me in what’s here
makes what’s here different, maybe that will be enough,
maybe that will be what I am after. But I’m not sure.

LOMOGRAPHY LOVIN’ 
In honor of February, the month of l o v e, I decided to temporarily devote my heart to the art of lomography — the sketchy, hipster uncle of photography.
For the past month, I carried my friend Joel’s Superheadz wide angle toy camera with me everywhere. I loaded it with an expired roll of 35mm kodak film and set off to shoot whatever inspired me. Above, are a few of my favorite photos ( + this light-leak-licious frame) from the film I developed.
After living in LA for 3 years, I finally made the trek to the hollywood sign.

That served as my mantra for 2011.
From the friends I made, the art I created, and the corners of the world I was able to explore, to the secrets I shared, the hands I held, and the laughter I was able to bring to others, I found this year to be better than I could have possibly imagined. 2011 more than exceeded my expectations, and I have my fingers crossed that 2012 will do just the same.
